Italy transfers ten 150 kVA mobile generators to Ukraine – embassy
Ten high-power electric generators donated by the Italian Civil Protection Department have arrived in Ukraine as part of the agreements between Giorgia Meloni and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Italian Embassy in Ukraine’s Facebook page reports.
"As with the current over 300 boilers, Italy continues to support the Ukrainian people with concrete, coordinated aid aimed at protecting the most vulnerable. In winter, under constant pressure on civilian infrastructure, the ability to maintain a steady power supply can be crucial for people’s safety and dignity," Italian Ambassador Carlo Formosa said.
The generators, with a combined capacity of 1,500 kVA, are mounted on wheels, allowing for rapid deployment and relocation according to operational needs, according to the statement.
"Italy continues its efforts to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of essential services for the Ukrainian population, as Russian attacks do not stop and winter temperatures remain extremely low," the embassy said.
