Ukrnafta earns UAH 10.6 bln in net profit in H1 2024
PJSC Ukrnafta posted a net profit of UAH 10.6 billion for January to June 2024.
"These results have been confirmed by an audit conducted by Crowe Erfolg Ukraine and Crowe Audit & Accounting Ukraine," the company announced on Wednesday.
During this period, the company contributed UAH 20.2 billion to the state budget in the form of taxes, duties, dividends on state shares, and customs payments.
"Since the start of state management and the new leadership in late 2022, the company has earned nearly UAH 40 billion in profit," said Ukrnafta CEO Serhiy Koretsky.
Ukrnafta is Ukraine's largest oil producer and operates a national network of filling stations. In March 2024, the company took over the management of Glusco's assets, bringing the total number of filling stations under its operation to 545 – 460 of which are company-owned and 85 managed.
The company is implementing a comprehensive program to resume operations and modernize the format of its gas station network. Since February 2023, Ukrnafta has issued its own fuel vouchers and NAFTA Cards, which are sold to both corporate and private customers through its subsidiary Ukrnafta-Postach.
The largest shareholder in Ukrnafta is Naftogaz Ukrainy, with a 50%+1 share stake. In November 2022, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine decided to transfer the corporate rights of private shareholders to the state, with the company now under the management of the Ministry of Defense.
