Over 950 medical facilities restored during the war
During Russia's full-scale invasion, over 950 medical facilities in Ukraine were fully or partially restored, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced.
"We are also equipping hospitals with modern equipment. Last year alone, over 100,000 units of advanced medical devices and instruments were delivered to healthcare facilities," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
The number of rehabilitation specialists has increased sevenfold, with more than 30 mental health centers established and plans to increase this number to 200.
The traditional Medical and Social Expert Commission was replaced with a human functioning assessment system, with over 1,500 expert teams already operating.
"We have started delivering medications through mobile pharmacies and Ukrposhta, focusing on frontline regions and remote settlements," Shmyhal said.
Ukraine has also launched a free dental prosthetics and dentistry program for defenders and veterans.
