About UAH 4 bln of compensation paid under eRecovery program over month
Under the eRecovery program, from October 10 to November 10, about 5,100 families received compensation for damaged and destroyed housing for a total of UAH 4 billion.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, 145,200 families received a total of UAH 52.3 billion in compensation during the program's entire period of operation. Of this amount, UAH 11.4 billion was issued for damaged housing for 116,500 Ukrainians.
The average payment amounts are UAH 70,800 for minor repairs and UAH 341,500 for major ones. A total of 179,200 applications were submitted for compensation for damaged housing.
To date, UAH 40 billion in compensation has been issued to 28,000 citizens for destroyed housing. Of those, over 18,000 Ukrainians have purchased new housing, including 8,600 internally displaced families. The average housing certificate amount is UAH 1.4 million. A total of 78,800 applications have been submitted for compensation for housing destroyed by the invaders.
In addition, UAH 931.3 million has been paid to 767 applicants who wish to rebuild their housing on their own land. The average amount of compensation is UAH 2.2 million. In total, out of 4,400 applications submitted, 989 have already been approved for a total of UAH 2.5 billion.
The eRecovery program was launched in Ukraine on May 10, 2023. Compensation is part of the HOME project, which is implemented by the Council of Europe Development Bank.
