Five more industrial parks receive state incentives worth UAH 259 mln

The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine has decided to provide state incentives to five more initiators of the creation and management companies of industrial parks for a total amount of about UAH 259.3 million, the ministry reports.

In particular, the Sygnivka industrial park (Lviv region) will receive financing worth UAH 35 million for the construction of electrical grids, as well as fire-fighting water supply networks, heat supply and rainwater drainage systems.

The Vinnytsia Industrial Park in Vinnytsia region will receive UAH 33.9 million to construct road infrastructure, water supply networks, and a transformer substation. The Dolyna Stryi industrial park in Lviv region will receive UAH 63.9 million to construct external power supply, water supply, and drainage networks, as well as to reconstruct the street section to the park.

The Kryvbas industrial park (Dnipropetrovsk region) will receive UAH 21.8 million to construct the first stage of external engineering networks. The Fruit Industry industrial park (Chernivtsi region) will receive UAH 104.7 million to construct local wastewater treatment plants.

The Ministry notes that the Sygnivka and Vinnytsia Industrial Parks received funds last year to co-finance infrastructure construction. However, they had ready-made project documentation, so this year, they appealed to the Ministry of Economy to fully utilize the UAH 150 million limit per an industrial park.

The ministry notes, "Taking into account the new decision, nine industrial parks have already received state incentives this year for 17 projects, totaling UAH 603.7 million."

The program State Stimulation of Industrial Park Creation provides for the development of engineering and transport infrastructure of industrial parks on the terms of co-financing: roads, power grids, water supply, sewage, gas supply and other technical solutions necessary for the launch of production.

State stimulation provides for 50%/50% co-financing of the creation of engineering and transport infrastructure and connection to power grids for the amount of up to UAH 150 million per an industrial park. For deoccupied territories - 80%/20%.

The Ministry of Economy is implementing the program in cooperation with Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, Ukrgasbank and Sense Bank.
