Short-term rental prices in Carpathian Mountains jump 67% ahead of holidays – OLX
Prices for short-term housing rentals ahead of the holiday season on the OLX Real Estate platform increased in most regions, rising by 5–17% in Kyiv region and by as much as 67% in the Carpathians, the company's press service told Interfax-Ukraine.
In particular, in Kyiv region, median prices for two-room apartments in Brovary rose by 17% to UAH 1,050 per day, in Bucha by 6% to UAH 1,200 per day, while one-room apartments in Hostomel increased by 5% to UAH 950 per day (comparison period: December 15–November 15 versus November 15–October 15, 2025). At the same time, prices for one-room apartments in Vyshneve declined by 8% to UAH 1,100 per day. Prices in Hatne and Irpin remained unchanged.
In Lviv region, according to OLX data, no changes in median prices were recorded in December in the suburban areas of Vynnyky, Malekhiv and Zymna Voda. It is noted that overall, prices there are almost no different from those recorded in Kyiv region. For example, a one-room apartment in Malekhiv can be rented for UAH 750 per day, while a two-room apartment in Vynnyky costs UAH 1,200 per day.
A significant increase in median prices was recorded in the Carpathians. One-room apartments in Yablunytsia rose in price by 67% to UAH 5,000 per day, while three-room apartments in Yaremche increased by 44% to UAH 1,300 per day. At the same time, on the OLX platform, apartments with fewer rooms in Yaremche are more expensive: the median price for one-room apartments is UAH 2,000 per day, and for two-room apartments UAH 2,725 per day.
