Sinsay to open store in Gallery Green mall near Kyiv
Polish fashion group LPP will open a store for the clothing, footwear, and accessories brand Sinsay in the Gallery Green shopping and entertainment center, which is being built by Epicenter K in Chabany, Kyiv region.
"Our strategy is to unite under the Gallery brand the innovative retail concepts of the Epicenter network, the Epiland family amusement parks, and a shopping gallery consisting of well-known national and international retail chains. So we are pleased to announce the opening of the Sinsay store in the Gallery Green shopping and entertainment center," said Kateryna Vesna, head of the development department of the shopping centers of Epicenter K.
The store's area will be 1,130 square meters.
The company's first fully-featured shopping and entertainment center, Epicenter K, is preparing to open at the end of 2024. The gross building area (GBA) of the Gallery Green shopping and entertainment center will be 96,000 square meters, with a gross lettable area (GLA) of 62,000 square meters. Of these, 51,500 square meters will be occupied by Epicenter itself, and another 3,000 square meters by the Epiland family amusement park.
"Our interest in opening a store in Chabany is due to several advantages that Gallery Green will have. First and foremost, these are the potent high-quality tenants presented in the Epicenter network's retail formats and the Epiland amusement park. They will ensure high visitor traffic and the stability of both the Sinsay store and the entire shopping and entertainment complex," said LPP Ukraine CEO Yarema Ivakhiv.
The project also involves several other retail operators, including brands like Victoria's Secret lingerie store (95 square meters), Famo clothing and accessories store (76 square meters), Brabrabra lingerie store (50 square meters), Sekunda watch store (32 square meters), and others. Additionally, the concept of the shopping and entertainment center includes the opening of a food court, which already includes Lviv Croissants (52 square meters), Menya Musashi restaurant (69 square meters), and Brewsel cafe (26 square meters).
Additionally, the Gallery Green shopping and entertainment center will have a 3,000-square-meter Food Market supermarket with its own restaurants, which will have access to the lake in the inner courtyard of the shopping center. Among other operators in the shopping gallery, Intersport (1,500 square meters) and the children's store E.Pic (1,600 square meters) are worth noting.
As reported, along with the construction of the Gallery Green shopping and entertainment center, Epicenter K is working on launching two more large shopping and entertainment centers. As of June 5, the retail network of the group includes 71 retail facilities under the brands Epicenter and Nova Linia.
Despite significant losses, the retailer continues to invest in the economy: in 2022-2023, the company invested more than UAH 14.2 billion in various projects. Overall, the investment plan of the Epicenter group of companies until 2030 includes the development of projects in the retail, manufacturing, agro-industrial, logistics, e-commerce, and energy sectors for a total amount of about UAH 100 billion.
