Zelenskyy: EU, NATO can resolve issues without people who work against our common interests, at expense of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking at the inaugural plenary session of the IV Summit of the European Political Community, called for the preservation of unity in Europe.
Zelenskyy said that we must maintain unity in Europe, live together. This will mean that Putin was wrong. He failed to create division in Europe. Europe must be decisive in preserving this value that ensures peace, the president said.
According to him, Putin maintains ties with different leaders, but we have the advantage that we are all united. Of course, he may try to contact you, your partners, individually trying to undermine or blackmail you, and perhaps so that one of you will harm our unity, Zelenskyy noted.
Zelenskyy emphasized that everyone chooses for themselves how to act. But if someone in Europe is trying to resolve their issues behind the backs of others, if someone wants to support the war, promise something against our common interests at the expense of, say, Ukraine or other countries, then why in this case do we even need to pay attention to such people? The European Union and NATO can resolve issues without such people, the president noted.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine, speaking about the "peacekeeping trips" of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, said that not all politicians have the ability to negotiate peace.
