Since the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers have been active almost along the entire line of combat engagement, concentrating their offensive efforts in Kurakhiv and Pokrovsk axes, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) said.

"A total of 78 combat clashes have occurred so far. Ukrainian defenders are holding back the pressure and inflicting significant losses on the enemy," the Facebook post states.

The border settlements of Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to suffer from artillery shelling and airstrikes from the Russian territory. The areas of the settlements of Iskrskivschyna, Oleksandrivka, Riasne, Pavlivka, Khrinivka, Leonivka, Slavhorod, Velyka Pysarivka suffered from artillery and mortar fire. Strikes were also carried out with unguided air missiles from Su-25s on the Basivka area.

Systematic bombing of enemy aircraft continues in Kharkiv region. Thus, over the past day, the occupiers dropped a total of 11 KABs from Russian territory. The strikes hit the areas of the settlements of Tykhe, Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Lyptsi, and Vovchanski Khutory.

At the same time, seven enemy assaults were repelled near Slobozhansky, Hlyboke and Vovchansk in Kharkiv axis.

In Kupiansk axis, the enemy stormed Ukrainian positions three times in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Tabaivka and Pischane. Fighting continues near the last two settlements.

In Lyman axis, the invading army carried out five attacks on Ukrainian positions near Nevske, Novoserhiivka and Novoyehorivka in 24 hours. Two clashes ended without success for the enemy, and three more are ongoing. The highest activity of the occupiers is observed in Nevske area.

In Siversk axis, the invaders carried out three unsuccessful attacks near Verkhniokamianske and Ivanodaryivka. The situation is under control.

In Kramatorsk axis, Ukrainian forces have repelled four enemy assaults near Hryhorivka and Chasiv Yar during the day. It is noted that the occupiers are acting with the support of aviation.

In Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out seven attacks near Zalizne, Pivnichne and New York. Near each of these settlements, as of 16:00, clashes continue. In addition, the invaders carried out airstrikes on New York and Druzhba with unguided air missiles.

The Pokrovsk axis saw the largest number of clashes. Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have already made 23 attempts to displace the Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Vesele, Novoselivka Persha, Yasnobrodivka and Tymofiivka. More than half of the clashes are ongoing. The enemy also carried out four airstrikes on the areas of Oleksandropole and Novoselivka Persha.

Active fighting continues in Kurakhove axis. At present, the Ukrainian defenders have already repelled eight attacks by the occupation army, and continue to repel the invaders in four more clashes. The enemy is concentrating its efforts in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka. The occupiers also bombed territories near Ukrainsk with guided bombs (KABs).

In Vremivka axis, one enemy assault was repelled near Vodiane. Fighting continues in four locations near Kostiantynivka, Staromlynivka and Vodiane. The enemy launched strikes with unguided air-to-air missiles in Urozhaine area.

In Orikhiv axis, the occupiers received a tough rebuff near the settlements of Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriyivka, carrying out five attacks. In addition, they bombed Mala Tokmachka area with KABs and launched more than 120 unguided air-to-air missiles. Strikes were carried out with unguided air-to-air missiles in the direction of Huliaipole, Lobkove and Kamianske.

In other directions, there were no significant changes.
