Minor dies in Hlukhiv in Sumy region after enemy shelling - prosecutor's office
The enemy struck the center of Hlukhiv in Sumy region from a MLRS - a minor child died, the regional prosecutor's office reports.
"On July 27, 2024, at about 12:40, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy struck the center of Hlukhiv in Shostka district with a multiple launch rocket system. As a result of the shelling, 13 civilians were wounded, including seven children. After some time, a 14-year-old boy died in the hospital," the message on Telegram on Saturday says.
Apartment buildings and private houses, an educational institution, a store, and vehicles were damaged.
Under the procedural guidance of the Shostka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
