The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has reported 85 combat clashes at the front on Tuesday since midnight, most of them were recorded in the Lyman, Siversky, Toretsk, and Pokrovsk axes.

The Russian occupation forces made 15 assault attempts in the Lyman axis, 16 – in the Siversky axis, 13 – in the Toretsk axis, it said in the 4 p.m. updates on Facebook, adding that three battles are ongoing in each of these directions. In the Pokrovsk axis, the defense forces are holding the line, 14 enemy assaults have been repelled, and eight are ongoing.

In the Kharkiv axis, the occupiers carried out two attacks in the vicinity of Lyptsi and Vovchansk, where one battle is still ongoing. In the Kramatorsk axis, the adversary carried out five assault operations near Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske, four assaults were repulsed, and one is ongoing.

In the Kurakhove axis, the invades made seven assault attempts in the area of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka, but were repelled. In the Prydniprovsky axis, the enemy made two unsuccessful assault attempts on the Ukrainian positions.

Also, according to the General Staff, the occupiers continued to shell the borderline settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions from artillery, mortars, and inflicted one air strike on the area. Two airstrikes were inflicted on the areas of Vovchansk and Hlyboke in Kharkiv region by three guided air bombs. The Russian forces also hit Kharkiv by an Iskander-M missile.

In the Kupyansk axis, the occupiers mounted 18 attacks by 18 unguided air missiles on Petropavlivka. In the Lyman axis, they dropped three guided air bombs in the vicinity of Borova. In the Toretsk axis, the enemy inflicted 20 airstrikes by 25 bombs on Kleban-Byk, Katerynivka, and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy forces launched eleven air strikes against Oleksandropil, Novohrodivka, Mykolaivka, Zhuravets, Skuchne, and Mykhailivka. In the Huliaipole axis, the enemy launched twelve strikes by unguided air missiles on the area of Zaliznychne.
