Kharkiv Group expects active enemy assault operations in Kharkiv axis
The enemy forces have intensified shelling of the Kharkiv axis, which might be a sign of their intention to launch active assault operations in this direction, the Kharkiv Operational and Tactical Group has said on Wednesday.
In the past 24 hours, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian defense positions 517 times, it said on the Telegram channel.
"The adversary uses artillery, mortars and multiple-launch rocket systems to strike Ukrainian defense positions, which might be a sign of the enemy's intention to start active assault actions. The vicinity of Vovchansk, where the intensity of shelling is especially high, requires particular attention. According to intelligence data, the Russian occupation forces are building up their military presence, carrying out preparations, concentrating personnel and equipment in this area," the group said.
It also emphasized that the intensification of shelling in the Kharkiv axis by the Russian occupiers is a serious challenge that requires due attention. At the same time, the Kharkiv Group stressed that despite the threat of the enemy, the Ukrainian defense forces are ready to deter and repel any offensive actions.
"Our military units are constantly conducting training and preparations, reinforcing defense positions and strengthening interaction between units. Thanks to the high professionalism and courage of the Ukrainian military, our defense remains strong and ready for any challenges," it said.
