Umerov: Unmanned systems are our priority, changing situation on battlefield
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to work on the integration of ground and air robotic and unmanned systems into a single control center for drones, which are already changing the situation on the battlefield, said Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
"We are currently working on the integration of ground and air robotic and unmanned systems into a single control center for all drones on the battlefield in real time. The Ministry of Defense continues to actively implement innovations and develop the army of the future," Umerov wrote on Facebook.
The minister said that during the second day of the visit to Ukraine of Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurynas Kasciunas, they visited a testing ground for innovative military developments.
"The test site demonstrated the capabilities of reconnaissance drones, remotely controlled machine guns on turrets, sapper robots and the effectiveness of ground robotic sanitary platforms," Umerov noted.
According to him, all these innovative developments were created by Ukrainian companies and are aimed at improving Ukrainian defense capabilities.
