Zelenskyy: Denmark's contribution to financing production of weapons in Ukraine will reach $215 mln
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the Danish government for the new aid package, noting that Denmark's contribution to financing the production of weapons in Ukraine will reach $215 million.
“I am grateful to the people of Denmark and the Danish government, led by Mette Frederiksen, for putting together the 20th military aid package to Ukraine. I appreciate the implementation of our agreements, as well as Denmark's growing financial support for Ukraine's defense industry. Denmark's contribution to funding weapons production in Ukraine will have reached $215 million,” Zelenskyy said on X Monday.
The President thanked the Danish people, Parliament and government for their consistent leadership, which strengthens Ukraine and Denmark, as well as the whole of Europe.
Earlier it was reported that the Danish government announced the transfer of a new aid package to Ukraine, which includes funds for the purchase of new military equipment through the Ukrainian defense industry and industrial pool, as well as donations of equipment through international partners.
