Defense Ministry plans to reconstruct military hospitals in 12 cities in two years – Umerov
The Ministry of Defense plans to reconstruct military hospitals in 12 cities over the next two years, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said.
"We understand that returning to civilian life after military action is not an easy process. Therefore, the Ministry has created a psychological support department that deals with reintegration into civilian life," she said at the International Veterans Forum "Ukraine. Veterans. Unity" in Kyiv on Thursday.
In addition, according to him, the department is launching two large infrastructure projects.
"The first is the reconstruction of military hospitals. Our goal is to reconstruct hospitals in 12 cities over the next two years," the minister said.
He said the first stage of renovation: Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia; the second stage of hospitals in Zhytomyr, Lutsk, Lviv, Poltava, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, Khmelnyk.
"Military medicine will be at the level of our Western partners," he said.
The second project, according to Umerov, is barrier-free access, and it will be implemented together with communities.
He said the project will be presented in the near future.
