Along the entire front line, since the beginning of the day and as of 16:00, some 79 combat clashes have been recorded, the occupiers are most active in Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions, in addition, they are carrying out air strikes on the territory of Kursk region of Russia some 14 strikes using 20 UABs, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

"At present, the enemy has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine 79 times. They are most active in Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions, where they carried out more than a third of all attacks," the General Staff said in a statement on Facebook on Friday.

As the General Staff said, "the hottest section of the front is Pokrovsk axis." Thus, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have already made 20 attempts to attack our defenders in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Kalynove, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka and Zelene Pole. The defense forces have already repelled 11 enemy attacks, nine clashes are still ongoing.

"The situation is also difficult in Kurakhiv axis, where the invaders attacked our units 15 times, tried to advance near Kostiantynivka, Heorhiivka, Krasnohorivka and Karlivka. Fighting continues in five locations," the General Staff said.

The border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions continue to be under constant artillery shelling. As the General Staff informs, it is known that "today the enemy aviation carried out 14 strikes using 20 UABs on the territory of Kursk region of Russia." In Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists have stormed the positions of our units in the areas of Hlyboke, Starytsia and Vovchansk four times. Currently, three combat clashes are ongoing.

The enemy has attacked in Kupiansk direction nine times. The defense forces are repelling enemy assaults near Petrovpavlivka, Kurylivka, Synkivka and Stelmakhivka. Two battles are ongoing. Russia is actively using aviation – ten UABs have already been dropped on the settlements of Novoosynove, Bohuslavka and Kruhliakivka.

In Lyman axis, enemy units continue to attack in the areas of the settlements of Druzheliubivka, Novosadove, Nevske, Torske and Terny. Since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repelled eight enemy attacks in this direction. The battle continues near Terny.

Fighting continues in Siversk axis: the enemy attacked near Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka, Bilohorivka and Spirne seven times, trying to capture Ukrainian positions. The attacks have been repelled.

It is reported that in Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out four assaults near Ivanivske and Kalynivka. Near Kalynivka, two battles are continuing.

In Toretsk axis, five enemy attacks have been recorded since the beginning of the day. The Russian army is attacking near the settlements of Nelypivka and Toretsk: three attacks have already been repelled, two are continuing. The Russian aviation struck the settlement of Druzhba with unguided air missiles.

In Vremivka axis, the invaders went on the offensive seven times. Near Vuhledar, Vodiane and Kostiantynivka, three enemy attacks have been repelled, battles are continuing near Vodiane.

"In other directions, the enemy is currently not conducting active operations, however, it is using bomber and attack aircraft, shelling the positions of Ukrainian forces and settlements from artillery weapons and MLRS," the General Staff said.
