The Verkhovna Rada has supported the resignation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak (Holos faction) said on Telegram.
According to him, 240 deputies voted for Kuleba's resignation at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday.
Zhelezniak also said that Kuleba was absent from the parliament meeting room.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Kuleba Minister of Foreign Affairs on March 4, 2020, and before that, from August 29, 2019, he served as Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Earlier, in 2016, he was appointed Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe, and before that, since 2014, he was Ambassador-at-Large for Strategic Communications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
