Zelenskyy instructs General Staff, following Staff HQ meeting, to provide list of measures to improve work of combat training centers
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff Headquarters, following which he instructed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to provide a list of measures to improve the robots of combat training centers.
“I held a meeting of the Staff today. I received updates on the situation at the front lines, along with detailed reports from both of our intelligence agencies—the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Defense Intelligence—regarding the intentions of the Russian occupiers and the situation within their ranks. The intelligence officers noted a significant deterioration in discipline among Russian units,” Zelenskyy said on X Monday.
According to the President, the current state of readiness of engineering protection at critical infrastructure facilities and the completion calendar were also discussed at the Headquarters.
“The third issue was combat training centers. I received a report from Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Defense Ihor Voronchenko and instructed the General Staff to provide a list of measures to improve the performance of these centers. The state must ensure high-quality training for those who defend it,” Zelenskyy stressed.
He also said that the issue of UAVs and export restrictions for their components was considered at the staff meeting.
“Some of the largest states exporting drone components are imposing export restrictions. However, we know how to ensure that these restrictions do not become critical for us,” the head of state stressed.
