There’re still 16,000 people in Pokrovsk – regional administration
There are still 16,000 people and 177 children in Pokrovsk (Donetsk region), said Vadym Filashkin, head of the Regional Military Administration.
"Now there are 16,000 people in the city, 177 children. More than 30,000 people have left and more than 3,500 children have left," he said on the air of the United News (Yedyni Novyny) telethon on Wednesday.
According to the head of the Administration, there are no problems with water in the city, but there are problems with gas and electricity supply.
According to him, there are now up to one and a half thousand people in Toretsk. He noted that the evacuation from the town is moving very slowly. Meanwhile, the enemy regularly shells access roads and it is very difficult to import humanitarian and medical aid.
