Russian forces highly active on Kurakhove axis – AFU General Staff
The Russian occupation forces showed the highest activity on the Kurakhove axis on Friday where a third of all combat clashes was recorded during the day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on Friday.
As of 4 p.m., a total of 123 enemy assaults were recorded along the front line, it said on the Telegram channel.
The highest number of combat clashes occurred on the Kurakhove axis, where the invaders carried out 40 assaults on Ukrainian units. The Russian forces conducted their assault operations in the areas of Tsukuryne, Zhelanne Pershe, Heorhiyivka, Dalne, Oleksandrivka, Katerynivka, and Kostiantynivka. There are ten ongoing hostilities in the direction.
The occupiers also carried out 21 assaults on the Pokrovsk axis (16 were repelled and five are ongoing), eight on the Lyman axis (there were three ongoing combat clashes as of 4 p.m.), and seven on the Kupyansk axis (there are five ongoing combat clashes in the area).
The Ukrainian defense forces' operation in the Kursk region, Russia, continues. Since midnight, the enemy launched 21 airstrikes and dropped 27 guided aerial bombs on the territory of Russia.
