Interior Minister thanks Japanese Ambassador for support in extremely difficult period
Interior Minister of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko has thanked Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori, who is ending his cadence, for the support and assistance to the Interior Ministry system.
"Your strong support for Ukraine and in particular the Interior Ministry system in the darkest times underlined that we are not alone in this fight against a brutal aggressor," he said on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.
Klymenko noted that "every initiative that we were able to put into practice had a tangible impact on the lives of our citizens: comprehensive assistance from the Japanese government and JICA [Japan International Cooperation Agency] in strengthening the State Emergency Service, the issue of demining territories, support for forensics, development of the system of psychological rehabilitation."
"On behalf of the Interior Ministry system and on my own behalf, I thank you for the support of the Ukrainian people in an extremely difficult period. Our cooperation is about efficiency, effectiveness and support,"he said.
