The week of stay in the United States was extremely full and important, now Ukraine is preparing for a meeting in Germany within the Ramstein format, where together with partners it will follow the content of the points of the victory plan, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"As we planned, we are going home today, after all necessary negotiations. And all the negotiations were exactly as Ukraine needed them to be. The Plan for Victory has been presented to America, and we have explained every single point. Now we will work at the level of our teams to fill every step and every our decision," Zelenskyy said in an evening video address on Friday.

He said strong positions for Ukraine are a faster world and everything key for our state is on the table with partners, everything is being considered. In particular, the Ukrainian side managed to work on the topics of long-range capabilities, the defense package, sanctions against Russia, and steps on Russian assets.

"We are preparing for a meeting in Germany within the Ramstein framework – it is a format, where we will follow the content of the Plan for Victory points together with our partners. I thank President Biden for the invitation," Zelenskyy said.

The head of state thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for his desire to implement exactly this path so that Ukraine would win, as well as for the unprecedented military package of almost $8 billion and the corresponding decisions.

The president also thanked all senators and members of the House of Representatives for conversations, for friendly advice and for questions "that really allow us to achieve results, our common strength and peace through strength."

Zelenskyy said the Plan for Victory was presented to both U.S. presidential candidates, as "we initially sought." "A meeting with Vice President Kamala Harris yesterday – a long conversation, and today with Donald Trump – a conversation that lasted almost an hour. It is important for Ukraine that America has a direct understanding of Ukraine. And it absolutely does. This Russian war must be stopped, and it must be stopped with fairness, so that no aggressor will ever do what Russia is doing," Zelensky emphasized.

The president also said Ukraine has done everything in its power to strengthen itself as much as possible on the front. "And now, together with our partners, we need to ensure exactly the right things that will bring us closer to a just peace. Russia must lose this war. Ukraine must prevail. These are the real foundations of shared security. Peace through strength," the head of state said.
