Twin city Leipzig sends 55 vehicles to Kyiv municipal services
Kyiv has received another batch of assistance from its twin city of Leipzig, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said, adding that the capital was provided with 55 cars of different types to ensure vital activities in the city.
"In particular, 50 Volkswagens. These cars were sent for our municipal enterprises, providing the operation of the municipal infrastructure. And five Mercedes cars for Kyivteploenergo for repair teams, providing quick response in accidents and emergencies, particularly after missile attacks," the mayor said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
He recalled that in 2022-2024 Leipzig, in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development as well as Polish partners, sent Kyiv 17 new fire trucks, more than 20 vehicles of different types, used (ambulance vehicles, fire engines, trucks), as well as hundreds of generators of different capacities, and humanitarian aid.
