Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky informed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Armed Forces General Charles Brown about the critical needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for weapons.

"As part of the development of dialogue at the strategic level, I held another telephone conversation with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Armed Forces, General Charles Brown," the commander-in-chief said on his Telegram channel.

Syrsky thanked General Brown for the strong military and political support of Ukraine from the United States, as well as for a number of joint events held within the framework of developing the capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The commander-in-chief also familiarized himself with the current situation in Ukraine and the critical needs of the Armed Forces for weapons, military equipment, and ammunition.

In addition, the parties discussed ways to implement the military component of Zelenskyy's Victory Plan and the next steps in implementing joint projects.

"I coordinated views and approaches with my American colleague in preparation for the 25th meeting in the Ramstein format, which will take place at the level of heads of state participating in the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine," Syrsky emphasized.

He noted that he had received assurances from General Brown of full support for the Ukrainian defense forces and continued practical assistance in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
