Investments in Ukraine's defense industry to ensure strength of arsenals of investing countries in future – Zelenskyy
Investments in the Ukrainian defense industry will become a guarantee of security for the arsenals of the investing countries, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Leaders and people of Ukraine increasingly see how technologically advanced the war has become, thus the need for new weaponry and new investments. This is needed now, and after the war, it will guarantee the strength of your arsenals. This refers to drone production, electronic countermeasures. These and other capabilities will enable peace in your region," Zelenskyy said during his speech at the Ukraine – South East Europe summit in Dubrovnik (Croatia) on Wednesday.
He also highlighted the potential of Southeast Europe in ammunition production and called for investment in this area of the defense industry. "In your region, there is potential. We call on relevant companies to invest in the production of ammunition components," the President of Ukraine said.
