MFA refutes claims on Kyiv’s alleged readiness to make concessions to aggressor at expense of its own sovereignty, territorial integrity

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry denies “manipulative claims voiced in a number of foreign media outlets” about Kyiv’s alleged readiness to make concessions to the aggressor at the expense of its own sovereignty and territorial integrity.

"We emphasize the unacceptability of such concessions. Such statements are only perceived by the aggressor as a sign of weakness, giving him unjustified hope for the success of aggression and the effectiveness of his ultimatums and blackmail," the Foreign Ministry noted on Telegram.

The only realistic path to restoring a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace for Ukraine, the MFA emphasizes, “was and remains the Peace Formula based on respect for the UN Charter and the imperative of the full restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.”

Following the successful First Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, which brought together over a hundred participants around respect for international law, the preparation process for the Second Peace Summit continues. Thematic meetings have already taken place on the provisions of the Peace Formula on energy and food security, as well as the restoration of justice.
