UNHCR allocates extra $7 mln to support frontline territories – Reintegration Ministry
The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) will allocate additional $7 million to support Ukraine's frontline territories, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine has said Friday.
"An additional $7 million is allocated by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to finance a program to provide some categories of the population with cash assistance for the winter period. Thus, the total budget of the program will amount to $37 million," it said.
The program provides for a one-time payment of UAH 21,000 for the purchase of solid domestic fuel for vulnerable households in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions.
