France supports Zelenskyy's Victory Plan – FM
Newly appointed French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, who arrived in Kyiv for the first time, announced his support for the Victory Plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"We support the Victory Plan because we have been with Ukraine for about 1,000 days and are making the necessary efforts," Barrot said at a press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha in Kyiv.
The minister stressed the importance of further support for Ukraine in various areas. At the same time, he added that Ukraine should decide for itself when to start peace talks.
"We need to make efforts so that the peace plan proposed by Mr. Zelenskyy attracts as many countries as possible to its implementation," he said at a press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha in Kyiv.
In addition, he recalled that on October 17, a conference on nuclear safety issues on the peace formula point was held in Paris. The minister also recalled that President Zelenskyy was in Paris recently, where he presented the Victory Plan to French President Emmanuel Macron.
In turn, Sybiha pointed out that "France is effectively ensuring the promotion of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Victory Plan."
"We had a long tête-à-tête, where we exchanged thoughts on additional steps for the practical implementation of Zelenskyy’s Plan," the Foreign Minister added.
