Seventy-three attacks of Russian troops were recorded along the entire front line since the beginning of the day and as of 4 p.m., the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has reported on Tuesday, adding that the greatest activity of the enemy was noticed on the Pokrovsk axis, where particularly fierce fighting is taking place in the vicinity of Selydove.

"Today, the number of enemy assaults increased to 73. The enemy continues to be most active on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes, where it has conducted about 60% of all fighting on the territory of Ukraine," it said on the Telegram channel on Tuesday.

The largest number of combat clashes was recorded on the Pokrovsk axis.

"Thus, the occupiers made 26 attempts since the beginning of the day to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Selydove. Almost half of all the clashes took place near Selydove. The defense forces, holding back the enemy onslaught, have already repulsed 16 enemy attacks on the axis. Also, the enemy dropped five guided aerial bombs on the area near Myrnohrad," the General Staff said.

On the Kurakhove axis, the invaders attacked 15 times the units of the defense forces, tried to advance near Hirniak, Novodmytrivka, Hostre, Katerynivka, and Antonivka. There are ongoing hostilities in the area.

On the Lyman axis, enemy units attacked the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Terny, and Torske. Since the beginning of the day, the AFU have already repulsed seven attacks in this area, and one battle is underway.

On the Kramatorsk axis, the Russian army is conducting assaults near Vasiukivka. It launched strikes with unguided missiles on Chasiv Yar. On the Toretsk axis, the Russian aviation struck the area of Druzhba with unguided missiles and dropped three guided bombs in the area of Petrivka.

On the Kharkiv axis, the occupiers four times stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk. There are three ongoing combat clashes in the area. The situation is under control.

The enemy attacked the positions of the defense forces on the Kupyansk axis six times.

"Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near Pischane, Kolesnykivka and Lozova. The fighting continues," the General Staff said.

On the Vremiv axis, the invaders are attacking the positions of Ukrainian troops, trying to move towards Bohoyavlenka from Vuhledar and Vodiane. On the Orikhiv axis, enemy aviation struck the area of Mala Tokmachka with guided bombs. On the Prydniprovsky axis, the enemy launched two attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions, and the fighting continues.
