As of 9:00, the Defense Forces shot down 57 enemy drones out of 81 attacking Ukraine, 15 UAVs were locally lost, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"On the night of October 23, 2024 (from 22:00 on October 22), the enemy is attacking Ukraine with 81 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones from the directions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - RF," the General Staff said on Telegram.

It is reported that on Wednesday night the enemy attacked Odesa region with an X-31P guided air missile from the Black Sea.

As of 9:00, the destruction of 57 enemy UAVs has been confirmed in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Cherkasy, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions.

"In addition, 15 Russian drones have currently been lost locally. Up to nine enemy UAVs are observed in Ukrainian airspace," the report states.

It is noted that the air attack is being repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine, and combat operations are continuing.
