Russian occupiers actively attacking in Pokrovsk, Lymany directions: total of 101 combat clashes recorded – AFU General Staff
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the advance of the Russian occupiers and are taking all necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. As of 16:00, the number of combat clashes has increased to 101, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on its Telegram channel.
Most of the clashes were recorded in Pokrovsk, Lymany and Kurakhove directions.
Thus, in Pokrovsk direction, Russian occupiers made 30 attempts to push the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Novotoretske, Luch, Lysivka, Chervonyi Yar, Selydove, Sukhyi Yar, Mykolayivka, Krutyi Yar and Mykhaylivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 28 enemy attacks, two clashes are ongoing.
In Lymany direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of the Ukrainian army 21 times, two clashes are ongoing.
In Kurakhove direction, 10 military clashes have been recorded, nine attacks by the occupiers have already been repelled.
In Kursk region, enemy aircraft continue to raze their own villages and towns to the ground. Since the beginning of the day, Russian aircraft have carried out 16 airstrikes of the 18th canister-effect bomb; on their own territory.
