Ukrposhta announced the purchase of 880 electric scooters for couriers as part of a logistics development project for implementation in 2024-2025, according to the procurement portal of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The client intends to use part of the loan/grant funds administered by the EBRD to cover the cost of the above contract, the announcement of the tender explains.

The purchase of electric scooters will make services more accessible and faster in densely populated regions of Ukraine.

Tender proposals are accepted until December 8, 2024.

As reported, in early October, Ukrposhta announced on the EBRD portal the purchase of 1,745 electric postal tricycles as part of a logistics development project, proposals are accepted until November 18.
