Juvenile prosecutors: 589 children die in Ukraine as result of Russian armed aggression
More than 2,270 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation: as of the morning of November 12, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 589 children died and more than 1,681 were injured to varying degrees of severity, the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
The largest number of children injured was in the following regions: Donetsk - 598, Kharkiv - 459, Kherson - 187, Dnipropetrovsk - 190, Kyiv - 133, Zaporizhia - 154, and Mykolaiv - 117.
On November 11, as a result of shelling of the city of Kryvy Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region, boys aged 2 and 10 and a 2-month-old girl were killed, and an 11-year-old boy was injured.
On November 11, as a result of shelling of the city of Zaporizhia, five children were wounded: boys aged 4, 16 and 17 and girls aged 15 and 17.
At the same time, as a result of shelling of the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region, a 16-year-old teenager was wounded.
