Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal proposed partners to create a Recovery Task Force within the Ukraine Donor Platform and an Advisory Group under the Recovery Agency.

"Since the launch of the Ukraine Donor Platform, one of its priority areas has been recovery. Today, I proposed partners to strengthen this area by creating a Recovery Task Force and an Advisory Group under the Recovery Agency, which will facilitate the coordination and specification of recovery projects," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the purpose of the Recovery Task Force will be to create a "single window" for the exchange of information on urgent recovery needs, infrastructure projects at the regional level and priority sectoral projects.

He noted that the group's work will include regular meetings with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine, relevant ministries, special recovery envoys, members of the Platform and other key stakeholders.

"Also, to strengthen expertise and coordination at the operational level, we are creating an Advisory Group under the Recovery Agency, which will work in Kyiv. This group should focus on the practical implementation of projects and the most efficient use of resources, which will help direct them as efficiently and transparently as possible to achieve results in the shortest possible time," the Prime Minister added.

Among other things, Shmyhal said that it is necessary to strengthen cooperation at the regional level through patronage over a specific region.

"Considering the scale of the tasks, we are also working on creating coalitions. And here, the coordination of coalitions by the relevant special representatives for restoration is important. The restoration of Ukraine is the largest project for the coming years. And our systematic and coordinated work is the key to the successful implementation of these joint projects and initiatives," he concluded.
