The laws on the 2025 state budget of Ukraine and on amendments to the Tax Code will be signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the coming days and take effect on December 1, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said on Wednesday.

"The government has already contacted the President of Ukraine regarding the earliest possible signing of these laws. They are one of the key demands of our creditors. They are important for filling all expenditure items for the defense of our state with funds this year and next year," the Prime Minister said on the Telegram channel.

He also noted that after these documents are signed, the government will receive additional resources for the purchase of weapons and ammunition, as well as for paying the salaries of the Security and Defense Forces.
