Zelenskyy: Ukraine may consider Macron's proposal to send troops to guarantee security
Ukraine may think and work on the proposal of French President Emmanuel Macron to send part of the troops while Ukraine is not in NATO, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
"And, frankly speaking, we can think and work on Emmanuel's position. Remember, he suggested that some part of the troops of a particular country to be present in some territories of Ukraine that would guarantee security while Ukraine is not in NATO," Zelenskyy told an Interfax-Ukraine agency correspondent.
"But before that, we must have a clear understanding of when Ukraine will be in the EU and when Ukraine will be in NATO," the President stressed.
