General Staff reports intensive enemy attacks on Pokrovsk, Lyman axes since midnight
Ukrainian defenders continue to stop the enemy and hold the lines, a total of 140 combat clashes were recorded as of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on the Telegram channel.
The enemy attacked most actively on the Pokrovsk, Vremiv and Lyman axes.
Twenty-eight combat clashes of varying intensity were recorded on the Pokrovsk axis. Fighting continues in the areas of Shevchenko, Pischane, Novotroyitske, Novooleksiyivka, Novy Trud, Dachenske and Lysivka. In the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin and Pokrovsk, twelve enemy attacks were repulsed.
The occupiers attacked 26 times on the Vremiv axis. As of 4 p.m., two combat clashes were still going on.
On the Lyman axis, there were 21 combat clashes, five battles are still ongoing.
On the Kursk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy assaults, six of which are ongoing. The enemy fired 182 artillery shells at settlements and positions of Ukrainian units in the region.
