Forced evacuation announced from Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhia region – police
Zaporizhia Due to the intensification of enemy shelling in Orikhiv direction (Zaporizhia region), the population of the village of Mala Tokmachka in Polohy district is subject to forced evacuation, the communications department of the main directorate of the National Police in Zaporizhia region reports, citing the head of the regional police department, Oleksandr Kryvenko.
According to him, the village of Mala Tokmachka turned out to be directly on the line of contact. As a result of increased shelling, local residents are in danger, so it was decided to forcibly evacuate them.
At this time, 22 residents of Mala Tokmachka have been evacuated by the police, and seven more people have left the village on their own. At the same time, 16 more people remain living in the village.
Also, in a number of settlements in Zaporizhia region (Huliai-Pole, Stepnohirske, Novopavlivka, Preobrazhenka and Yehorivka), children are subject to forced evacuation. At this time, 54 children have already been evacuated from there, along with their parents.
According to the Communications Department of the State Department of the National Police of the region, today 8,884 local residents remain in the territories of Zaporizhia region, where active hostilities are underway.
