Some 113 of 184 missiles, drones launched by Russia at Ukraine shot down – Air Force

The Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 113 missiles and attack drones out of 184 that Russian occupiers launched at Ukraine on the night of December 25, and another 52 were locally lost.
"According to preliminary data, as of 12:00, it has been confirmed that 113 air targets have been shot down: 55 X-101, X-55, Kalibr cruise missiles; 4 X-59/X-69 guided air missiles; 54 Shahed attack UAVs/imitator drones of various types, and another 52 did not reach their targets (location lost)," the Air Force Telegram channel reported.
In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detected and tracked 184 enemy air targets: two X-23 ballistic missiles (launched from Voronezh Region of the Russian Federation); ten S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles (launched from Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation), 12 Kalibr cruise missiles (launched from the Black Sea); 50 X-101/X-55 cruise missiles (launched from Tu-95MS strategic bombers in the area Volgograd Region of the Russian Federation and the Caspian Sea); four X-59/X-69 guided air missiles (launched from tactical aviation aircraft in the area of Belgorod Region). Also 106 Shahed attack drones and drone imitators of various types, launched from the areas of Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russian, were detected and tracked.
"The enemy attacked Ukrainian energy facilities in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zaporizhia regions. Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian attack, there were hits," the statement said.
Anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack.
