Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported on the work in units and subunits in Donetsk region, as a result of which measures were worked out to increase the effectiveness of enemy fire damage and reliable retention of borders and positions.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that as a result of the combat work of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the enemy is suffering record losses in the direction.

"The enemy continues to carry out continuous ‘meat assaults,’ suffering record losses. So, in the last week, the invaders have been losing about 1,700 people killed and wounded every day, and this year this figure is already 427,000. The lion's share of these losses is the result of the heroic actions of our soldiers in Donetsk region," Syrsky wrote on Telegram on Monday.

He noted that measures have been worked out with the command staff to increase the effectiveness of fire damage to the enemy, reliably hold lines and positions, ensure uninterrupted supply of ammunition and drones, and strengthen units engaged in defense at the forefront. Special attention is paid to providing medical units with everything necessary and organizing effective evacuation of wounded soldiers.

"Our goal in this area is the maximum destruction of the enemy and its reserves," emphasized Syrsky.
