Number of Russian strikes increased by one and half times in 2024 compared to 2023

Russian invaders attacked Kherson region one and a half times more often in 2024 than in 2023, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of Kherson Regional Military Administration.
"The number of civilian casualties has also increased. In 2024, some 2,187 people were injured or killed due to Russian shelling. This is more than 200 more than in 2023," Prokudin wrote on his Telegram channel.
In addition, drone attacks have become a serious new threat, which the Russians have been actively using against civilians since August 2024.
So, for five months of last year, almost 12,000 UAV attacks were recorded in Kherson region, ending the lives of 54 people, and 609 more, including eight children, were injured.
