The official website of Ukraine's Ministry of Justice has resumed operations.
On December 19, the Ministry reported a large-scale failure in the network infrastructure supporting state registries. Later, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice, Olha Stefanishyna, announced that Russia had carried out a cyberattack on state registries under the Ministry's jurisdiction, aiming to disrupt critical infrastructure. As a result, the registries' operations were temporarily suspended.
At the same time, the Ministry's official website also went offline. However, on Wednesday, January 8, it was fully restored.
Previously, on December 20, Stefanishyna assured that all registry data would be restored, though it would take time. She also stated that there was no confirmed leakage of personal data following the cyberattack on the Ministry's network infrastructure.
