URCS volunteers in Kramatorsk participate in liquidation of consequences of Russian air strike
The rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) in Donetsk region worked to eliminate the consequences of the Russian air strike on Kramatorsk on Wednesday.
"A shell hit a multi-story residential building, causing significant damage. Volunteers quickly went door-to-door, providing the necessary assistance to the residents of the building affected by the shelling," the URCS wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
In addition, volunteers organized the distribution of essential construction materials to residents, in particular tarpaulin, film and OSB boards for temporary repairs of damaged houses, and also distributed water.
As reported, the Russians dropped a UMBP D-30 SN air bomb on the city on Wednesday, hitting a residential building on the seventh and eighth floors. Nine people were injured, including two children. A total of 24 civilian objects were damaged: five apartment buildings, a pharmacy, and 18 civilian cars.
