Poland makes decision to limit attempts to block Polish-Ukrainian border
The Polish government has added border checkpoints to the list of critical infrastructure in order to limit possible attempts to block the Polish-Ukrainian border in the future, said Pawel Kowal, Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Sejm.
"The government has introduced regulations on critical infrastructure, which has slightly reduced the inconvenience associated with protests at the border," Rzeczpospolita quoted him as saying.
He stressed that "the list of what is considered critical infrastructure has been expanded."
As Kowal noted, farmers in Poland and throughout the EU will always look for ways to organize protests that will have the greatest impact on the authorities. On the other hand, any government will try to limit these protests within the framework of the law.
