Naftogaz production facilities in Poltava region damaged as a result of night attack
As a result of another massive attack on energy facilities, the production facilities of Naftogaz Group in Poltava region were damaged.
"Fortunately, there were no casualties," the company reported on Tuesday morning.
All necessary measures are currently being taken to stabilize the situation with gas supply in the region.
"Despite all the challenges, we continue to work to maintain the country's energy stability," emphasized Head of Naftogaz Group Roman Chumak.
As reported with reference to Poltava Regional State Administration, nine settlements in Myrhorod district of Poltava region were left without gas due to a missile strike by Russia. No hits to civilian infrastructure were recorded.
Earlier, Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko reported that Russian aggressors attacked Ukraine's gas infrastructure on Tuesday night.
