Sybiha: We don’t want so-called Minsk-3 or Yalta-2
Ukraine does not need a situation where there is simply no war, it does not need the so-called "Minsk-3" or "Yalta-2", said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
As Polskie Radio reports, during a media interview with his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski in Warsaw, Sybiha called the talks in Jeddah "very important, almost historic."
Answering the question of whether Vladimir Putin is ready to compromise on the issue of the occupied territories and the neutral status of Ukraine, Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine is only interested in long-term peace.
"It is very important to adhere to this position and have the support of our partners in achieving a just peace. We do not need a situation where there is simply no war. We do not want the so-called Minsk-3 or Yalta-2," he emphasized.
As The Guardian said, Sybiha also added that Ukraine is ready to form a relevant negotiating group to work on a roadmap in order to achieve a ceasefire in the future.
