Impossible to talk about sending peacekeepers to Ukraine before peace agreement concluded – Pavel
President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel considers it premature to discuss sending peacekeepers to Ukraine before a peace agreement is concluded. The Czech leader stated this during a joint press conference with Volodymyr Zelenskyy after talks between the two presidents on Sunday.
"As for the deployment of peacekeepers on the territory of Ukraine, we cannot talk about it yet. Since a peace agreement has not yet been concluded, it is difficult to say anything specific about the mandate. Individual states will decide who and in what quantity they will send. Ukraine is an independent state. Ukraine will give permission for this," Pavel said.
