Ukraine ready to present reform roadmaps to EU member states, Commission – Minister

Ukraine is prepared to present detailed reform roadmaps to European Union member states and the European Commission, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna announced during a special session of the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs.
According to Stefanishyna, Ukraine has completed and preliminarily approved at the national level three strategic documents that outline the country's transformation vision leading up to EU membership.
"This vision is embodied in three roadmaps: on the rule of law, civil service reform, and the functioning of democratic institutions. Additionally, we have proposed an Action Plan for the Protection of the Rights of Persons Belonging to National Minorities in Ukraine. This document was developed in extensive dialogue with minority representatives and also addresses key concerns raised by one of the EU member states. We are finalizing preparations to present these roadmaps to EU member states and the European Commission," said Stefanishyna, according to the Office for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
She emphasized that major efforts in transforming these areas began well before Ukraine obtained EU candidate status. She also highlighted the high level of digitalization in public services, which has significantly reduced corruption risks.
As reported, in early May, the Interagency Working Group responsible for supporting Ukraine's EU accession negotiations and legal harmonization approved the draft reform roadmaps.
