Yermak and Meloni’s advisor discuss progress of consultations on 30-day ceasefire

Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and diplomatic adviser to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic Fabrizio Saggio discussed, in particular, the progress of consultations with partners on the implementation of a 30-day ceasefire.
"I have had a telephone conversation with Fabrizio Saggio, diplomatic adviser to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic. I expressed my sincere gratitude to the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, for participating in the meeting of the leaders of the countries of the coalition of the willing, which took place in Kyiv in a mixed format - offline and online," Yermak wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.
Yermak noted that Meloni's "clear and principled" position in support of Ukraine "is extremely important for us at this crucial time."
According to him, Yermak also informed Saggio about the conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the newly elected Pope Leo XIV. "It opens up new opportunities for moral and diplomatic influence to achieve a just peace," Yermak noted.
"We also discussed the progress of consultations with partners on the initiative to introduce an unconditional 30-day ceasefire regime - as a step towards implementing the Ukrainian Peace Formula," he added.
Yermak noted Italy's unwavering support from the first day of Russia's full-scale aggression. "The strength of Ukrainian-Italian relations is an example of a true strategic partnership," Yermak emphasized.
