Defense Forces shoot down 93 enemy drones out of 108 during the night, another 58 lost from location - Air Force

On the night of Tuesday, Ukrainian defenders shot down 93 Shahed-type attack drones, as well as drones of other types, launched by Russian occupiers, the Telegram channel of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"As of 09:00, air defense neutralized 93 enemy Shahed-type UAVs (drones of other types) in the east, north and center of the country. Thirty-five drones were shot down by fire weapons, 58 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare (without negative consequences)," the report says.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The occupiers attacked Ukraine on the night of May 20 (from 19:00 on May 19) with 108 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of drone imitators from the following directions: Bryansk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of the Russian Federation.
As a result of the enemy attack, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Zhytomyr regions suffered.
As reported, the night before last, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 112 UAVs, of which 41 were shot down and 35 were lost. On Sunday, the enemy launched 273 drones at Ukraine (88 were shot down, 128 were lost).
